"Botchan Ressha" is the longest route in this game as well as the only route with non-stopping stations. It also has a lot of scenery introductions posing as announcements which are easy to miss. It does not have night time services.
The entire red-light duration of traffic lights near Nishi-Horibata (西堀端) and Minami-Horibata (南堀端) is 30 seconds. In some unlucky cases, it can completely overlap the on-time range, which means you can only choose to pass the station too early or too late.
From Miyatachō towards JR Matsuyama (宮田町~JR松山駅前), I drive with full speed until the only traffic light. This allows me to have enough time in case of a red light.
(Trivia: The original steam locomotive used in Matsuyama City was imported from Munich in 1888, and is now preserved in Baishinji Park (also in Matsuyama but far from city). The current functioning model is a diesel-powered replica, with horn alerts produced by loudspeakers and steam produced by water instead of coal. Its nickname "Botchan Ressha" originates from Natsume Sōseki's 1906 novel "Botchan".)

旅情編は坊っちゃん列車の演出をはじめ、伊予鉄だけやたらと凝ってますよね
函館市電は駒場車庫のイベントがありますけど何故か乗客乗ってたりして詰めが甘い印象ですし、江ノ電や嵐電は車両は豊富でも往復するだけしかなくて単調でしたし……
